Promun Newborn is a supplement developed to aid in the immunity and healthy development of newborn foals. It contains prebiotics and glutamine, which promote the establishment of a healthy gut microbiota, improve nutrient absorption, and prevent the action of pathogens. Additionally, it provides high levels of antioxidant vitamins and essential minerals for hormone replacement and stimulation. Promun Newborn can be used as an ally in the treatment of common diseases in this phase, including diarrhea, pneumonia, rhodococcosis, parasitic infestations, septic arthritis, omphalophlebitis, viral and fungal infections.

Description
- IMMUNITY: It contains egg powder, which provides pH- and temperature-resistant immunoglobulins that do not interfere with the absorption of natural maternal antibodies. It is low in contamination, reduces antibiotic administration, decreases the parasitic load, and has potential antiviral action without adverse effects;
- HEALTH: It contains prebiotics and glutamine, which help establish the gut microbiota, improve nutrient absorption, prevent the action of pathogens, and promote healthy growth;
- VITAMINS AND MINERALS: It includes antioxidant vitamins and important minerals for hormone replacement and stimulation, contributing to the body’s defense;
- It can be used for orphan or twin foals, as well as those suckled by mares with low milk production or cases of poor-quality colostrum;
- It can be used in foals with conditions such as underweight, diarrhea, pneumonia, rhodococcosis, parasitic infestations, septic arthritis, omphalophlebitis, viral and fungal infections, as it helps promote adequate feed intake and meet the increased nutrient needs;
- It can be used in newborn foals, irrespective of colostrum feeding, as it does not compete with the absorption of maternal immunoglobulins.
How to use
Provide 0,10 fl oz (3ml) directly in the mouth of the animal, once a day, for 8 days.
